Conference Description:  
Pediatric nurses practice in many settings providing care to children, teens and families.  This regional conference will provide a variety of pediatric nursing topics that will provide new knowledge, address current trends and present evidence-based practice in the care of children and families, as well as pediatric nursing practice.  In addition, there will be opportunities for pediatric nurses to network with other pediatric nurses and community organizations that advocate and support children and families.

This Conference is joint-provided by the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Society of Pediatric Nurses and Children's Mercy Kansas City

CNE:

This educational activity has been awarded  6  contact hours.

Children's Mercy Kansas City is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multi-state Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Requirements for successful completion in order to receive CNE:
  • Sign attendance sheet
  • Engage in conference discussion and activities
  • Complete the follow-up electronic evaluation to identify strategies to integrate new knowledge into current practice and self-report increase knowledge of current evidenced-base pediatric nursing care.
